eBay Mistakes and Other Things Not to Do

I’ve been an eBay seller since 1997, through a multitude of different IDs. My story is one of making thousands of dollars from the sale of unsavory items on eBay, getting banned multiple times, then coming to legitimacy (after a life-changing spiritual event) in 2005 as an eBay Powerseller. Also combined with book sales through Amazon and Half.com, I created (along with the help of family and friends) and an ALMOST profitable business. Thanks to lofty guesswork, bad numbers, overestimating demand, and not listening to my wife (of course), my Powerseller business resulted in thousands of dollars in debt.

I don’t want this to happen to you. On this blog, I’ll go over the steps I took that led to misfortune so that you can learn from my mistakes and not repeat them.
